Exhale your question
  out and out again
into the fresh North Mountain air

See the answer
  all around
It waddles with leisurely curiosity
  on the path ahead
Or drops blessed from the sky

Hear the answer
  in the rolling songs
  of the Aspen trees
The rhythm of tides
  drumming the shore

Touch the answer
  with hands, feet, heart
  Earth, Water, Fire, Sky
Dancing with mothers, sisters,
  Lovers, friends

Taste the answer
  in tender kisses
  of salty sea and tears
Ripening fruit the earth offers
Words and music on my tongue
  both thanks and prayer

Embrace your question
And an answer will find you

Preparing for my Vision Quest in South Africa

Everything is getting this lovely rosy glow, my heart is just brimming with love for my dear ones... like the colors lighting up just before sunset... why did I ever think of going on this crazy adventure?

Tomorrow this time I will be checking in for Johanneburg, South Africa, to then continue to the wilderness. Two days and night I will be alone on a ridge, overlooking the savannah and maybe spotting lions and elephants.. while leopards roam where I sit, eagles and condors fly around my head..

Oracle Of Initiation In Review

On March 6th through to March 8th I attended the North West Tarot Symposium, or NWTS. This was their maiden conference and I have to say I was incredibly impressed. The quality of the speakers and workshops was outstanding. And I include myself and my workshop partner Amy Barilla in that mix. My number one aim at any conference is to network with as many fascinating people as possible. OK fascinating to me. And I was not disappointed.

Over the next few months I will be featuring some of these incredible peeps on this blog, but I had to start with the one person who just impressed me to my core. This goddess is a piece of work and I mean that in the most empowering way possible. Mellissae Lucia is truly a trail blazing diva and her story not only needs to be told, but retold over and over again.

Calling In Death

'Everything in me knew I was dying. Memories of my life started flooding by. I realized in that moment how much I loved. Loved my dear ones, the earth, this life. So much time had been wasted in fear!  I started a ritual and invited everyone to say 'I love you'. I shared everything else that needed to be shared'.
At the point of near death the veils are lifted. You suddenly see, know, are. Things that you have been closing your eyes for all your life suddenly become crystal clear.  For instance: your mission in life, love, how to live together with all these people on our beautiful Earth.
