The Unfolding of the Chrysalis Tarot

Earlier this year the Chrysalis Tarot by Toney Brooks and Holly Sierra made its way to #1 on my must have list. I had been following the creation of this deck on facebook and checking in regularly with Toney's blog. Not long after I wrote my must have post I finally got a copy of this gorgeous deck in my hands.

Holly Serria the artist for this deck went above and beyond with the packaging. Everything about the packaging was done with the consumer in mind. The littlest details made a huge impact as I unwrapped each layer. It did not surprise me at all to find out how quickly the first release of this deck through U.S Games sold out.

    I have the inside scoop on this. There IS a book coming. Toney posted about it...or Holly. I can't remember. But yay!
A Journey of Rebirth With the Tarot de St. Croix

My review today is not the one I had planned. In fact I have a hard drive filled with other reviews that really should be posted before this one. However this deck is speaking the loudest, is pulling me more to it and has just captured my heart. I am speaking of course of Lisa de St. Croix's stunning deck Tarot de St. Croix.

This deck arrived in my mailbox Easter weekend and has not left my hands since. It has mesmerized me, entrapped me and left me longing to experience more. Yes I am still talking about a deck of cards. I could feel the energy of this deck before I even opened the bubble wrap postal envelop. This energy only intensifies the moment you get it into your hands.
