PaganNewsBeagle Fiery Tuesday Sept 30

Greetings, Pagans and allies! Today's activist "Fiery Tuesday" includes stories on Pagans at the Climate Change march, the next Religious Rights case before the Supreme Court; the fate of a village already experiencing climate change, sustainable paths for cities, and a mobile farmer's market.

Many Pagans attended the recent Climate Change March in Manhattan; Terrence Ward offers this report on their experiences.

Remember Hobby Lobby? This session's Supreme Court case Holt vs Hobbs will settle whether the Roberts court believes in religious rights for minority religions, or just for the majority.

This documentary tells the story of one Inuit village in Greenland on the front line of climate change.

Wondering what can be done about climate change? This slideshow details some of the responses of cities that are already making a difference.

Here's an idea: a mobile farmer's market is bringing fresh fruit and veggies to North Carolina.

Obama told a reporter recently that the US is "A Muslim nation." Why would you not expect the court to uphold Muslim rights?

Sorry, Greybeard, that is an inaccurate reading of Obama's actual statement. http://mediamatters.org/research/2009/06/03/fox-nation-headline-falsely-claims-obama-says-u/150789

Besides which, SCOTUS doesn't take its marching orders from the White House. That's one reason the justices are appointed for life.
