A Faerie Haven: Living in Myth, Being Magic

For some people, magic isn't something they do, it is what they are. This blog focuses less on theory and more on lyrical mysticism, applied spellcrafting, experiential awareness of Divinity, and related topics. A haven for you who long to become your myth and live your poem. Faerie tales do come true.

Prayer for Wholeness in Body and Spirit

 I pray:

I will not live drawn and quartered by the hate and fear around me. I will not respond to hate and fear with hate and fear, thereby ripping my body apart myself, but will remain whole, loving, confident, present, and happy.

When in action, I will not be disjointed. I will be integrated.

When my arm reaches out—to give, to heal someone, to bless, to receive—God the Father’s hand supports my arm so its mere and insufficient human strength is upheld by His endless power.

When my arm reaches out, God the Mother holds all of me so I can be one.

When my arm reaches out, it remains attached to my back, supported, not disjointed because I fear that, if I reach out with my entire self, I’ll fall prey to evil’s constant attacks on wholeness. I release fear, knowing My Gods protect me.

When my arm reaches out to give or to receive, God the Father supports it, assuring me, “I know you can do this” and, if I fail, “Good try! Try again, I love you! You can do this!”

God the Mother adds, “If you cannot do this, We love you regardless; you remain safe within Us regardless.”

When I step forward, I do not rush, in fear or impatience, leaving part of myself behind. I do not fall over, stumbling from haste. I move in peace and know the moment. Residing in the moment is residing within my Gods.

I do not live drawn and quartered by the hate and fear around me. I do not respond to hate and fear with hate and fear, thereby ripping my body apart myself. I remain whole, loving, confident, present, and happy.

I remain whole, loving, confident, present, and happy.

So mote it be!

So profound. And so beautifully expressed. And so important to be reminded of at this time.
    Thank you.
