For a passionate pick-me-up, drink this tasty tea with your lover.
In a pint of distilled or spring water, heat the root of ginseng no less than an hour. Simmer, don’t boil, under cover and don’t dare stir. Pour yourself a cup for love’s sure power.
Elixirs are very simple potions made by placing a crystal or gemstone in a glass of water for at least seven hours. Remove the stone and drink the “crystallized” water. The water will now carry the vibrational energy of the stone, the very essence of the crystal. This is one of the easiest ways to take in crystal healing, and it is immediate. The red stones always hold the “lust for life,” so to push the envelope, put as many red stones into your elixir as you can get your hands on. Gather the following:
Red stones and crystals such as carnelian, garnet, rough ruby, red coral, red jade, red jasper, red sardonyx, cuprite, aventurine, or red calcite
Jar or glass full of water
Amber incense
Red candle
Mix and match the red stones, and remember, if you only have access to one rough ruby and a tiny chunk of red jasper, so be it—that is still a lot of love in a jar!
Venus rules this most popular day of the week. Small wonder that this is the ideal night for a tryst. To prepare yourself for a night of lovemaking, you should take a goddess bath with the following potion in a special cup or bowl. I call mine the Venus Vial. Perform this rite on a Friday night.
1 cup sesame oil
6 drops orange blossom oil
4 drops gardenia oil
Bowl
Combine ingredients in the bowl and stir with your finger six times, silently repeating three times:
I am a daughter of Venus, I embody love. My body is a temple of pleasure, and I am all that is beautiful. Tonight, I will drink fully from the cup of love.
Pour the Venusian mixture into a steaming bath and meditate on your evening plans. As you rise from your bath, repeat the Venus prayer once more.
I use this potion as a combination body care oil, massage oil, and lubricant. This is a tip I picked up from a professional who shared her confidential formula with me; she added, “All my clients marvel at how soft and yummy my skin is.” I have acquired several trade secrets from her that I have used to great effect. A total goddess, she also has her clients and lovers worship at her sex altar before they make love. I have to note that she has many repeat customers. Gather up:
1 cup of sesame oil (you can cheat and get the sesame-scented oil from the pharmacy or grocery store, which works just as well in a pinch)
Clove, cinnamon, and ginger (powdered)
Bergamot, amber, and jasmine essential oils
Amber-colored jar
Magnetite
Take the sesame oil and add a pinch each of all the spices. Then add a drop of citrusy bergamot and a teaspoon each of the amber and jasmine oils.
Stir gently and then place in an amber-colored jar with a stopper. Place the jar beside a piece of magnetite, also known as lodestone, which draws people to you. Let it sit for a full week, and then use it to bring yourself and your lover to orgasm—again and again.
Note: This is not for safe sex, if you are using a latex condom. (But there are condoms made out of new, oil-friendly materials to be had these days; shop Good Vibrations at goodvibes.com to learn more.)
Honeyed mead is revered as the drink of choice for the sexy pagan holy day of Beltane. It is an aphrodisiac, and with its sticky sweetness, it is perfect for dribbling on your lover’s body and then licking it off. This is my special recipe for honeyed mead, handed down through generations of Celtic witches. You will need:
1 quart of honey
3 quarts of distilled water
1 packet of yeast
Herbs to flavor
Mix the honey and water. Boil for five minutes. You can add the herbs in proportions to your liking; I prefer a teaspoon each of clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice.
Add a packet of yeast and mix. Put in a large container. Cover with plastic wrap and allow it to rise and expand. Store the mixture in a dark place and let it sit for seven days.
