Flame Song - An Imbolc Prayer

Flame Song

 

Thrice rings the hammer,

Life arises on the forge,

Heavy the strike,

Long the life,

Clang! Clang! Clang!

 

Three words to encourage,

“Let them come!”, she says,

Hands open to life,

As the new life emerges,

Breathe! Breathe! Breathe!

 

Three stanzas in the making,

Words arise from the fire,

Brighid brings life to the word,

As the blend into beauty,

Say! Speak! Telll!

 

All rolled into one on this day.
