This week we are visiting crystal questions and answers. These excellent and thoughtful crystal questions come from a Crystal Friend in Australia. I hope you benefit from reading his crystal questions and my answers!
QUESTIONS: DO CRYSTAL ENERGIES CONTAMINATE EACH OTHER?
CRYSTAL FRIEND: I have 5 different stones I meditate with a rose quartz the size of the palm of my hand. An opalite. A moonstone. A cloudy quartz pointed pendant and a clear quartz pointed pendant.
I recently had a question about Lemurian Seed Crystals and felt it would make a good blog post. We will return to the alphabetical review (Curved crystals) later.
Without further ado, here is part of the conversation I had, with the questions paraphrased to fit the format and expounding on the concept both from me and Venus:
"Sometimes [crystals] jump from my hand or I drop another crystal on them accidentally, etc. I am brand new at this and don't know how to proceed. Thank you" - K. S.
This blog post is in answer to a great three part question about crystals with more than one prominent type. Specifically, 1. is there generally one type (configuration) through which a crystal prefers to connect? 2. How would it be best to identify this? and 3. Is it even necessary to identify the crystal type to connect? The question reads in full:
I have a lovely crystal which recently chose me that I am trying to identify its type so I know best how to relate and connect with it. It appears to be both an old soul and a several different types in one; it also contains cookeite. My question is two actually; when a crystal is a combination of multiple configurations/ types, is there generally one which it prefers to connect through and how would it be best to identify this? Second, is it necessary to even identify the configuration to best connect with a crystal? Thanks in advance to you and Venus for any assistance and guidance!
Hello fellow crystal lovers! In this blog post I am going to answer a question I recently received. It also addresses other questions which seem to pop up on occasion, one of which I will answer in another post.
The question often comes up: "Where it is acceptable to find and purchase (adopt) quartz crystal?". I'm not talking about where it comes from in the Earth, but what are acceptable sources available for a person to gather their working collection/family of crystals.
If you live too far away to dig your own, there are plenty of great options available. Even if you are in a town that (gasp!) doesn't have a store with gemstones. Among the options are the obvious, such as; gemstone stores and shops, gem and mineral shows, spirit fairs and festivals. Other not-so-obvious places where I have found crystals are craft stores (often drilled, for beads), flea markets, antique stores, garage/tag/estate or yard sales, second-hand stores and roadside vendors.
