Tarot Templates: A Card A Day Creates Magic

Tarot can be used for many things including futurecasting. This blog will focus on Tarot as a tool for introspection including spreads, readings, individual card explorations and investigating themes of Tarot. You can expect discussions of magical uses of Tarot as well. If you have a question, please send it for possible inclusion in a blog topic.

TarotBlogHop: Yule Joy Of Gifting (Master List)

There is this magical, mystical circle that happens every six weeks. We call it the Tarot Blog Hop. As my Yule gift to you, I'd like to invite you to hop on board to see where it takes you. The Tarot Blog Hop was begun by me.

I had this idea that a bunch of Tarot folks could all blog on the same topic on the same day. All the posts would go live at the same time creating a pop-up community. In my head, it was like Brigadoon--that magical place that appears once every hundred years. Little did I know that there was a reason it was only every hundred years.

The first question was "How can I be a better candle?" From there we've blogged on so many subjects that my mind boggles at it all. We've had anywhere from fifteen to thirty plus bloggers participate. The core remains the same while we have those that come and go as the topic entices them. I am so very proud of the way this online group has come together.

Now we are at the last hop of 2014. This marks the end of our third year. For this hop, I am the wrangler. That means I got to post the subject. I've challenged my fellow bloggers to do a spread about the joy of gifting. Here is what I've asked them to do.

Yule, Hanukah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Solstice, Winter. Whatever you call this time of year, it is a season of gift giving, gift receiving and sharing with family and friends for a majority of the world. Whether Papa Noel brings you a candy cane or the Winter Witch brings you switches, it’s a time of anticipation. The anticipation of what I might be getting and what I am giving are equal joys for me.
SPREAD: The Joy Of Gifting
  1. What gift would you give the world if you could?
  2. What gift would you want from the world?
  3. What gift have you gotten that has brought you joy?
  4. What gift have you given that has brought you joy?
  5. What is one last thing you would like to share about this season?

Here are the bloggers who are participating. I invite you to hop your way through them all then stop back here. Let me know what you thought of the different things you saw.

And if you are a community-minded blogger, come join us for the Mid-Winter (Imbolc) hop coming in February 2015. If you get lost at any point (sometimes posts don't up up as planned, etc), just click on "master list" from any of the posts to come back here.

A nicely organized master list! I love your analogy of Brigadoon. Thanks for starting the BlogHop! I"m so glad to be a part of it. I think I've participated in every one since I joined in March 2012!
