A Prayer to Sirona

Posted by on in Paths Blogs

Today, according to the Archives of Reformed Druidry in America (ARDA), is the Feast of Sirona. This is described as "Goddess of Rivers. Rivers in your vicinity should be blessed by your local Arch-Druid and hymns of praise to various river deities sung."

To this end, I have written a Prayer to Sirona which may be sung to any body of water, be it still water or flowing. May you find blessings in your world!

Prayer to Sirona

Healing waters

From the Danube flow,

Ankle deep,

Bless me as the waters rise

Healing springs

From deep in the Earth arise,

Waist deep,

Bless me as the water rise

Healing rains,

Falling from the sky above,

Chest deep,

Bless me as the waters rise

Healings streams,

Flow from where the waters join,

Soul deep,

Bless me as the waters call your name,

Sirona
