New Moon, New Attitude

With ushering in the New Moon on Friday the 19th, comes the opportunity for new possibilities. Meditate during this waxing moon phase about what that means to you, exactly. Whether you’ve been wanting to try a new look fashion-wise or give a room in your home a new makeover, sometimes a fresh perspective is all that’s needed to brush off those lingering winter doldrums and doubt, once and for all. It could go deeper, though.

How New Do You Want to Get?

Search your heart. Have you been wanting to radically change some bad habits, behaviors, or patterns of thought that no longer serve any purpose for you whatsoever? Some of these old go-tos can actually hold us back from embracing a new, stronger, truer self. When you meditate, see what comes to you instinctively, first and foremost. Ask, what is high time that I left in the dust in my life?

Sending it out There

When you have a clear picture of yourself acting in accord, at your best, exactly as you’d like to be, you’ll probably notice a smile playing on your lips. Pour good, loving energy directly from your heart chakra into that new, positive picture of yourself in your mind’s eye. Hug that image of you with pink, protective love and light and seal it in a bubble. Send it out into the universe that it may manifest for you by the time of the next New Moon. Thank the Goddesses and the Gods and ground. Act in ways that will draw that new way of life directly to you and ignore old nagging worries. Let those things that you don’t need any longer fall away and disintegrate like so much dust. You don’t need to obsess or stew about what you don’t want. Redirect your focus instead to the positive and you will make that happen for the good of all concerned. So may it be.
