When I was trying to learn Tarot, one of the most frustrating aspects were cards that looked alike or seemed to convey the same type of energy.

Some similarities I struggled with included:

What's the difference between the 2 of Wands and 3 Wands? They're so similar!

A Tarot deck creator listed "fear" as a keyword for TWO cards. Whaaa?

Both the 3 of Swords and 5 of Cups look like sadness to me...

The Lovers and the 2 of Cups. OK, two people...in love? And the 10 of Cups, too!

10 of Swords and Death. People are DEAD. So which one is...death?

As if learning Tarot wasn't aggravating enough, right?

Years ago, after I finally became comfortable with the Tarot, I thought of writing a book called Tarot Look-a-Likes. It would compare and contrast dozens of groupings of cards that had similar themes. For example, BEGINNINGS would cover the Aces, Fool, Death and the World. ABUNDANCE would discuss the Empress, 9 of Pentacles, 10 of Pentacles and the Queen of Pentacles.

After I started the book, I realized just how time consuming it would be...so I put it on the back burner.

Until now.

But, I've decided to resurrect the concept in video form. It's faster this way and, hopefully, more fun and engaging.

Below is a 7 minutes video on the 4 of Coins and 5 of Swords, two Tarot cards often ascribed the keyword SELFISHNESS.

Has "look-a-like" Tarot cards ever stumped you? Which cards frustrate you the most? Do share in the comments section below!

And if you like the idea of my Tarot Look-a-Likes videos, I have my own Patreon page here. You can become my Patron (yep, just like the artists of old!) by sponsoring each video for $1, $3 or $5--and you get cool rewards like a free 1-card Tarot reading, my exclusive AstroTarot Forecast for all 12 signs of the Zodiac and a BOYER ARTIFACT. Already up on my Patreon page is a 17 minute video comparing the Aces, Fool, Death and the World in light of BEGINNINGS. The February AstroTarot Forecast is already posted, too!

I hope you can join me for this exciting, groundbreaking series--for what amounts to a cup of fancy, schmancy coffee. ;o)

Blessings to you!
