Middle Earth Magic: Inspired Ideas and Seasonal Spells for Your Enchanted Life
I grew up on a farm in West Virginia and learned much about herbs, trees, animals, gardening, foraging and so much about nature. I incorporate this wisdom I learned from elders in my family into my spellwork. When I finally left the farm, I majored in Medieval Studies, my attempt to emulate my idol, J.R.R. Tolkien. All these influences led me to my own blended brew which I call "middle earth magic," containing a mix of the modern and the time-tested "old ways."
Quarrel Cure Magic Potion
Friends have their differences, but that should never stand in the way of continuing to grow together. In fact, we are attracted to our friends because they are different from us, and in some ways, they complete us. Here is a recipe to keep your friendship quarrel-free.
Over a low flame, stir together a scrambled egg, three cherries, and a pinch of powdered clove and nutmeg. Add a slice of peach and two tablespoons of peach juice.
Stir clockwise and chant three times:
As it cools down, picture you and your friend hand-in-hand, back together.
The quarrel cure will taste rather like a sweet omelet but is far better than the bitterness of a friendship gone sour.
