Witchlings, Tarot and Snakes? Oh my!

Sometimes I run into a situation with a client where the answer simply isn't making itself known. When that happens, I turn to the clarification card technique.

This isn't something I developed. I learned it a long time ago from a beautiful witch in Toledo. Lady Lhianna taught me that sometimes

we need to draw one more card to lay on a specific spot in a spread. At that time, I used the Celtic Cross exclusively.

There's another way that I use this clarification card method. I will draw an oracle card along with a Tarot card to dive deeper into a question.

Right now I'm working on the challenge of embracing change. There's a lot of that in my life these days. So I focused on this question:

"What might I do to embrace change with more joy?"

Then I drew from the Animalis Os Fortuna. Without looking at the card I drew, I followed up by drawing from the Witchlings deck.

These two decks play into my love of the dissimilar! Stark black and white Tarot cards that have a hint of the macabre next to the fanciful watercolors of Paulina Cassidy certainly are different.

But look at how the message of the one is emphasized by the other.

Nagini, the cobra queen, rules as the Queen of Wands here. I take away the message to strike when ready.

Then Energy shows up telling me I can achieve more than I've ever dreamed is possible.

So my take away from this method is that to embrace change more joyfully, I need to be more energetic about it.

Bah! It's more fun to sit on the couch whining that I don't wanna.

What about you? What do your cards tell you about embracing change with more joy? Try this method to see how an oracle card can enhance or give deeper meaning to a one card Tarot pull.

Animalis Os Fortuna is a self-published deck by Megan "Zaheroux" Weber.
Witchlings is from U.S. Games and is a Paulina Cassidy creation.

Seek joy, y'all. Pass it on.
