Potato/Wild Greens and Macrobiotic Cooking For Cancer

Hippocrates said many years ago, “Let your medicine be your food and let your food be your medicine!”This I have proven to be true.

A cancer survivor now for 25 years, I healed my ovarian cancer first with a diet given me by Monka, an ET from Mars, also known in Peru as Viracocha. Monka appeared on my lawn one afternoon as I was contemplating how to heal my ovarian cancer. He suggested I eat potatoes, wheat, watermelon and wild greens, focusing on potatoes, which I juiced and ate baked whole, or mashed with little else. 

It was May and spring in the mountains where I lived, subsequently I could find numerous wild greens in my area. Chickweed, lambs quarters, sorrel, wild purple violets, purslane, plantain and strawberry leaves. Monka also stressed I eat lots of purple violets for my cancer. After six to eight weeks of this diet and some self Reiki, hands on healing, I added more foods to my cancer healing regime, those recommended by a Macrobiotic teacher. Additionally, I didn’t wish to, nor did I receive any surgery, radiation or chemotherapy. I also had tumours in one of my breasts and in my uterus which after ultra sounds and mammograms had completely disappeared in 4 months after religiously being on Monka’s Potato/Wild Greens, and the Macrobiotic diet.

Macrobiotic Diet has been utilized and validated by at least 10 leading university hospitals including, Harvard University and Boston Medical School/Hospital in the US, and the University of British Columbia, Canada.

These diets will also greatly help all those suffering from precancerous conditions and for the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation.

 In the Macrobiotic class we learn about seasonal foods and how they support our good health, which organs to focus in toning and energizing for the 4 seasons, and about various cooking methods to enhance energy and healing in the physical body. For instance now in the autumn, we tone and cleanse our lungs and large intestine. We learn how this diet based on grains, (60% of diet), beans, lentils, sea vegetables, Miso, root and above ground veggies, purple grapes and some unique teas help to cleanse the body and rejuvenate our physical organs, the immune system, contract and diminish tumours and much more. Side dishes are also taught in Macrobiotic Basic Class. These are condiments that we can choose intuitively at any given meal for our particular needs that day. Some of these side dishes are gomashio, which is a combo of seasalt and sesame seeds, ground up fine, roasted pumpkin seeds, sauerkraut, horseradish, and Miso soups.

There is a focus on the specific foods for healing cancer, some of these are, burdock root, daikon radish, umeboshi, a Japanese pickled plum, the cabbage family, wakame seaweed Miso soup and all alkalizing vegetables. A toxin removing balanced tea is Bancha tea, but one of my fave tea companies, Choice Teas, has mislabeled it, calling it Kukitcha tea. Some of the most potent cancer healing foods may even grow in your back yard as my ET freind Monka pointed out! Cancer is an expansive illness, where the body has received overly yin or yang foods, toxins from food or the environment or toxic emotions. To stop the growth of cancer and tumours we need to focus on contractive alkaline foods and balanced ones, and ones high in nutrition. 

In my 30 years of healing with Reiki I've become aware of the fact that my cancer clients had emotional or mental issues that led me to know why they had cancer in certain areas of the body. For instance ovarian cancer always indicated sexual misconduct or abuse in childhood. Meditation for healing and relaxation is also mandatory during our healing phase and should be continued as a life practice.
