PaganNewsBeagle Fiery Tuesday Nov 4

In today's Fiery Tuesday post, we are taking a break from activism and politics (we figure it being Voting Day in the U.S. is pretty much enough of *that* kind of news) and are concentrating on Elemental Fire. Fiery videos, erupting volcanoes, Ragnarok and climate change, and #Gamergate. A pretty fiery mix!

First up is a mysterious and enthralling video entitled "Bridge Brothers Fire" sent to us by a reader. Now you know everything that we do -- is this a ritual? An art project? A shamanic dream? Whatever it is, we sure enjoyed watching it!

Another reader submission, this image (and many others from the same source) celebrate the Fire of Faerynia -- as far as we can tell, a Witchy art collective from Germany. (We'd love to know more about this group!)

Residents of a small town in Hawaii face a dilemma: should they try to divert the lava of an erupting volcano whose flow threatens the village, or respect the power of the goddess Pele? NPR reports.

What could be more fiery than Ragnarok: the cataclysmic end of the Age of Norse myth? What relevance does the story of Ragnarok have to today's world? Heathen loremistress Diana Paxson finds a connection between the myth and today's environmental challenges.

And finally -- a Pagan male geek comments on #Gamergate. (Doesn't get more fiery than this topic!)
