Three Lost Epigrams from Book Twelve of the Greek Anthology
I
You turned down Marinos?
Marinos the Golden, heart-throb of Athens,
muse to ten thousand epigrams, this one included?
Well, Daphne fled from Apollo, they say,
fairest Olympian, gayest of gods,
for whom boys dance naked.
More the fool her.
II
"Bet you a blow job," said Marinos.
Now that's what I call unfair.
I come in his mouth, or he comes in mine:
either way, I win.
III
Straight dick, gay ass:
Marinos has it all.

The Greek Anthology is a Byzantine-era collection of ancient Hellenic poetry; Book Twelve contains the homoerotic verse.
Note that "gay" and "straight" are strictly modern conventions. The ancients didn't categorize themselves by sexual identity.
Happy Pride, folks.
We've come a long way to get here.
For the real Marinos
