Middle Earth Magic: Inspired Ideas and Seasonal Spells for Your Enchanted Life

I grew up on a farm in West Virginia and learned much about herbs, trees, animals, gardening, foraging  and so much about nature. I incorporate this wisdom I learned from elders in my family into my spellwork. When I finally left the farm, I majored in Medieval Studies, my attempt to emulate my idol, J.R.R. Tolkien. All these influences led me to my own blended brew which I call "middle earth magic," containing a mix of the modern and the time-tested "old ways."

With the constancy of demands upon our time and energy, it is easy to understand why so many of us can feel anxiety. I urge you to not feel any shame about it, Ever. Many, many of us feel much the same way as you and my intention with this book is to offer helpmate so you can find what works for you. It might well be a combination of a lot of little things. I’ll give you an example from my own life People that know me well know that I love a strong cup of coffee, preferably a triple soy latte. I even thought of myself as a coffee achiever despite a lifelong love of tea.   The routine of getting my beloved latte, however, went from a ten of fifteen minute event to over a half hour at my littl3e neighborhood café, worse, with uneven results. I started making coffee at home with even more uneven results. So, I began experimenting with herbal tea combination and discovered my dream combination which starts my day off perfectly. It is a large cup of chamomile, cinnamon and apple. The splendid scent, delicious taste and heat is something I look forward to each morning. As if that is not enough, I noticed a side benefit. If I have it right as I open email each day, I am undaunted by any digital onslaught that has come my way and I realized that, even thought I was just looking for my ideal morning beverage, this sturdy cup of tea was also reducing my anxiety.
